The Maria Gabriella De Matteis Foundation, established in December 2023 at the behest of the Ricci and De Matteis families, aims to pursue the values that characterised Maria Gabriella’s work and entire life: supporting the younger generation and the importance of interdisciplinarity. These are the foundations on which the Foundation’s mission has been built, seeking out the most promising talents in the scientific and artistic fields in order to support them in their training, growth and research through the provision of scholarships and scientific grants. Two years after its inception, the Foundation has already awarded over €100,000 for two scientific scholarships, two artistic scholarships and one in collaboration with the University of Salerno.
